To ensure the reasonable use of warehousing resources and the operational order of the platform, 1688order has set unified storage periods and overdue disposal rules for all normally warehoused goods. Please carefully read and confirm before using the service.

1. Storage period for normally warehoused goods

1. Storage Period

  • Total storage period: 30 days
  • Calculation start time: calculated from the date when the order status shows “in stock”
  • First 30 days:Free storage period

2. Payment Standards

When the actual storage time meets:

30 days < storage time ≤ 60 days

The system will charge storage fees according to the following criteria when you submit the package waybill:

1 USD / Order ID / Day

Example Explanation:

If you have 2 order IDs and submit the waybill after 100 days of storage in the warehouse:

Storage fee = (100 – 30) × 1 × 2

Storage fee = 70 × 1 × 2 = 140 usd

2. Rules for Handling Overdue Items Exceeding 60 Days (Important)

When the goods are received into the warehouse:

More than 60 days have passed, and the user has neither submitted a waybill, applied for an extension of storage, nor contacted customer service to provide feedback

shall be deemed as the user voluntarily waiving the right to custody and disposal of the goods.

In this case:

  • 1688 orders reduce inventory occupation and have the right to conduct independent disposal
  • includes but is not limited to: destruction, liquidation, resale, public welfare disposal, or other legal means
  • No need to notify the user again
  • No additional user consent is required

⚠️ Special Statement:

  • Goods disposed of after the expiration date will not be refunded
  • Refunds are not supported
  • shall not assume any liability for compensation
  • Related purchasing agency fees, commodity payments, and warehousing fees will not be refunded

Once the user confirms and agrees, if no action is taken within 60 days, it shall be deemed as authorizing the platform to conduct final disposal.

3. Abnormal Package Warehousing Rules (Important)

Definition conditions for abnormal packages:

Physical goods have been warehoused, but have not been submitted for pick-up for a long time, or the logistics information has not been completed, or cannot be matched to a user account.

1. Storage Period

  • Storage period:30 days
  • Starting time: from the date of warehouse receipt

2. Overdue Handling

Abnormal packages that have not received any feedback for more than 60 days:

  • is considered as the user’s waiver of claim
  • Default agreement to be handled by the 1688order platform
  • The platform has the right to directly destroy or otherwise legally dispose of
  • No additional notice will be given
  • No refund
  • shall not assume any liability

⚠️ Due to the inability to match user information, this type of package does not provide expiration reminders.

4. Scope of Custodial Responsibility Explanation

  1. Within the effective storage period, 1688order shall assume reasonable warehousing and storage responsibilities for the goods.
  2. The shelf life of the goods themselves is not within the scope of storage liability, for example:
    • Perishable food
    • cosmetics
    • Liquid commodities
    • Goods with a shelf life shorter than the storage period

The platform shall not be liable for deterioration, expiration, or damage caused by the inherent characteristics of the goods.

5. Explanation of the Reminder Mechanism

  • Reminder for completion of quality inspection upon goods procurement and warehousing (once)
  • The system will send an email reminder before the free storage period is about to end
  • Send a reminder again before the product is about to exceed 30 days
  • Abnormal packages over 30 days do not provide reminders

If the user fails to receive the reminder due to reasons such as incorrect email address, failure to check, or the reminder being sent to the junk email folder, it will not affect the implementation of overdue disposal.

6. Final Statement

To ensure the fair use of warehousing resources:

  • The user is obliged to submit the waybill or apply for an extension within the valid storage period
  • Overdue goods will be deemed as relinquishing ownership and disposal rights
  • The platform has the final right of disposal
  • No refund, no compensation, and no separate notice
